New user and having some issues. As Tmo is using an older version of handheld software, I can't seem to be able to change anything on my BB. I was looking to upload a copy of pictures, but have been unsuccessful so far. Does anyone out there know how I can do this. I have the latest versions avail of desktop manager and handheld software.

if you're trying to get pictures onto the device - for changing desktop/standby screen etc? - easiest way is probably to email them to yourself and then save them to the device from the email. You can't transfer files etc.. using desktop manager.. only sync pim and change your email settings etc..
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~yes that is the only way to do that from my understanding, only os 4.2 which is available for the 8100 bb and the 8800 will have the ability to let you add them from the dm
