Have a BB curve 8530.. Originally with sprint.. 8 months ago got it fully flashed to cricket and work perfectly, text, pics, internet... Had to leave the country and closed the cricket account... 3 months ago came back and went to get a new account with the same phone... Happened that text works.. but not the mms (pics) and the internet...
They said I have to redo the flashing.. Obviously is flashed to cricket because I can make calls and text...
but somehow when activated the new account the mms (pics) and internet flashing got lost....
I am assuming that what I need is to redo those 2...
On my research I Downloaded the QPST v217 Build 301, but there are so many different version of tutoring that
I am affraid if i do something wrong I'll screw the BB and won't be able to bring it back to life....
Now, reading all instructions it seems as I need something called prl... and found http://www.corolada.com/prl/ on which seems i need to download the 01050 file... but it seems is just "local" as, is only going to work here in my state..also found
some files that are supposed to be nationwide..CRKTNAT6199 and ROAMNAT4199...
Also some tutoring site tells me i need some nuraber called spc or scp..(not sure)
My question for you is... can u guide me step by step as this is going to be my 1st time flashing a cell.. I am thinking i do not need to do the first part of flashing but to "flash" only the mms and internet part...right?
