Battery replacement

Hi.
My T2 has recently started to lose charge quickly. I suspect the battery needs replacing. I wonder if anyone here could tell me how to do this please?

The detailed fitting instructions are exactly what I needed.
I will try to source a battery in the UK, because the $50 FedEx shipping charge makes it an expensive $29 item to buy from the USA {;^)

Before buying that battery, try an in-cradle reset followed by a full charge.

There is no change after two hours of charging. The screen is bright and clear and I can hear the high-pitched whistle of the touch-screen, but the stylus makes no impact on it at all.
I think I'll buy a reconditioned Zire 71 from ebay.co.uk for about thirty quid to get me out of my business black hole for a while, then think about what to do next. Music I can live without, but my clients' details and diary synching I can't All advice gratefully received. Anyone for a pencil and a notebook?
