Hi, I have just got a battery grip for my 450D, this is probably a stupid Q but is it normal that the battery grip hand hold is fatter then the normal landscape one, so where your right hand normally would be without the grip, compared to where is sits on the battery grip in portrait. I guess I kind of just expected them to be the same thickness as such yet the grip I got is a lot fatter to hold onto, is this standard with all grips?
