I think the battery is dying on my 2005 Chevy Cobalt and I need to replace it. The problem is, I can't seem to find the proper battery. The battery is vented on the left side, with a stiff plastic tube that feeds into an exit at the bottom of the trunk.
I found a battery that had the postive and negative on the correct sides (pos on the left) but the vent was on the right. The plastic tube is not long enough to reach the vent on the right side.
Can I use any plastic tubing to vent the battery if need be? Preferably, does anyone know of an after-market battery that will work with this car?
