My fiance has a 97 ford probe and a few days ago the left headlight got stuck half way down, they are the flip up kind. 2 days after that the battery was completely dead, this is a brand new battery less than 6 months old, could the head light being stuck have drained the battery? I got the headlight unstuck and jumped the car and let it run for about 10 minutes, and now the battery wont hold a charge for more than a few hours, is the battery done for after being killed like that or could something be draining the battery besides the headlight?
