I recently installed an alpine head unit, sub, and amp into my vehicle. The h.u. I got is the CDA-117, which doesn't have regular bass/treble controls, but instead a 5 and 7 band equalizer. I have almost no experience with these equalizers, so I'm having some trouble adjusting them. I mostly listen to rap music, so enjoy heavy bass.
QUESTION: Could anyone give me some suggestions on adjusting the eq for increased bass output, yet clean sound?
Also, I was wondering if bass output from the h.u. goes to my regular speakers, as well as the subwoofer? If so, is it possible to adjust it to go only to the sub?
