When I am playing b-ball, I am primarily left-handed (shoot & drive lefty). I have been working on my right hand because I want to be dominant in my right as well. I can lay-up fine with my right if my left comes up with it. I find it hard to drive right, I can explode like I do with my left. Yet, with learning anything new, I know it will take quite some time. My question is- is it the same with right handed players? In other words, is it difficult for them to go left? I know good ball players are good at both. A couple of my friends play great with both, and it is hard to pick out which is their dominant hand.

well I am a right handed player and I have trouble useing my left hand. Its the same for everyone you just have to practice and do lots of ballhandeling drills to get get better with your left hand,

im a lefty as well... its always more difficult to not go to your natural hand... im ambidexrous so im fine with both but will always wanna go left simply because that is my stronger hand and i prefer jumping off my right foot... but yer just practice man

Im a righty, and its so hard going left. One good move i found out going with your opposite hand is one strong dribble with that hand, and 2 LONG steps to the basket. Foul, lay in, or floater almost everytime.

It starts out slow, but as you do it more you become better and it eventually makes almost no difference whether you go left or right
