I have the following information: some data which fits the standard deviation model has a mean of 20 and a standard deviation of 4. What proportion of the population has a value above 15?
If the question asked 'above 16', then this would obviously be 84%. However, since it's asking for a value which doesn't sit on a standard deviation 68%, 95%, 99.7% rule, there must be some way you have to calculate it that I'm not sure of. Can I get some help? Thanks!
