ive wanted a nike for some time now, but i dont have a bike license. ive had a full car licence for around three years now but my heart is set on getting a bike. i just want to know: how different is owning a bike compared with owning a car, i dont really know much technical info about bikes or anything like that, is this vital though? i mean i dnt know much a bout cars yet i still drive one quite well and know when its broken lol. plus how do i go about gettin a license and do i need a certain size engine to start with? im 20 and looking at a harley davidson 1200 sportster, would this be ok to learn on? thanks

That would be OK. A lot of people will say it's too big to learn on but it is tractable and doesn't produce a lot of power so it shouldn't cause any problems.

Its much better than a car, faster through traffic and more fun to ride. The downside for me is that I don't have my car with me and I have to ride no matter what the weater is like. Right now it's mid forties (celsius) and was up as high as 53C. That's a bit uncomfortable. The duststorms make the road slippery too, so it can be interesting
