I have a diagram that looks a bit like this:
P--------------(fork)(two wires)(forks re join)-------------Q
On the top wire of the fork, there is a 4 ohm resistor
and on the bottom wire of the fork there is a 4 ohm resistor. The forks then rejoin. The resistors are in parallel
It asks me to calculate the total resistance between P and Q.
I haven't really done this yet, I would guess 8 ohms, but then current is halved through parallels, so would the total resistance be halved or something?
Thanks
