I know my pitching isn't that good, but yeah. What do you think of my team?

Catcher- Posada is probably the fifth best catcher in the majors. He should hit about .275 with about 125 hits, 20 homeruns, 80 runs scored, and 80 RBIs. And should have a decent OPS around .825

First Base- Gonzalez is in the top 15 first basemen in the league. He should be able to get you a decent amount of offensive stats. He should hit around .300 with about 175 hits, 80 runs, 100 RBIs, 30 homeruns, and an OPS around .900

Second Base- Utley is by far the top second baseman out there. He should hit near .333, with 200 hits, 30 homeruns, 125 runs scored, 115 RBIs, 10 stolen bases and an OBP around .400

Third Base- I have Ramirez listed as the 5th best third baseman on my list this year. He should have no problem hitting roughly .300, with 180 hits, 40 homeruns, a little under 100 runs scored, 125 RBIs, and a slugging percentage around .575

Shortstop- Tulowitzki is still very young, but he will certainly provide you with huge numbers this year. He should hit .300, with 185 hits, 25 HRs, 100 runs scored, 110 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, and an OPS around .850

Outfield- Sizemore is your best outfielder, but they are all basically in the top 20 or so. Sizemore is about 5th, Beltran 7th, and Abreu is about 18th. Sizemore should hit .300 almost, with 185 hits, 30 homeruns, 125 runs scored, 75 RBIs, and 30 stolen bases. Beltran should hit a little less, around .275 with 150 hits, but still hit 35 homeruns, with 100 runs scored, 115 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases. He should also have a slugging percentage near .550. Abreu has seen a slight decrease in his numbers since joining the Yankees, but he is still able to produce a lot. He should also hit near .300, with 175 hits, 15 homeruns, 115 runs scored and 100 RBIs, and still be able to put up 20 stolen bases depsite his decreasing speed.

Utility- Furcal surprises most people still, but he is still in my top ten shortstops currently. I guess we will have to see if he is able to maintain that throughout the season. But he should hit around .285 with 175 hits, only 10 homeruns or so, 100 runs and 60 RBIs, and is still able to contribute with his speed, maybe around 30 steals. Matsui is a nice utility man. He is a mediocre outfielder, but you already have three outstanding outfielders to play almost everyday. Matsui should hit a little under .300 with 160 hits, 25 homeruns, and 100 runs and RBIs.

Bench- Your bench is middle of the line. There is a lot of inconsistency amound the four players listed, but you should still be able to get a decent amount of points from those players when you do need to play them.

Pitchers:
Starter- J. Lackey is in the top ten starters in the league. He should put in about 225 innings of work, striking out about 7 or 8 per nine innings. He might get around 18 wins (with only 9 losses or so, maybe a couple CG and a shutout as well). His ERA should hover around 3.45 with a WHIP around 1.25. And he should end up with about 3 K/BB (roughly 190 strikeouts).

Starter- B. Myers is where you see a little drop off in your pitching. Lackey breaks the top ten, Myers is barely in the top 25. He should still be able to get you 13-15 wins with an ERA around 4.00 and a WHIP of roughly 1.25. He should also be able to add 180-190 strikeouts over the course of the season.

Starter- J. Maine if he is able to stay healthy, you may get 15-18 wins out of him. His ERA should be around 4.00 with 190 strikeouts, and only 75 walks.

Starter- D. McGowan had middle of the line numbers last year, and he should be able to get the same middle of the line numbers this year. Expect 12 wins, an ERA of 4.00, and 150 Ks in about 175 innings.

Reliever- Wagner is getting up in age, but he should still be able to give you decent fantasy points. Expect and ERA of 3.00 with around 35 saves.

Reliever- Borowski is also getting up in age and his ERA is usually very high (over 4.50 this year probably). But he should add 30 saves or so.

Reliever- Lidge was a good aquisition for the Phils this offseason as they havent really had a good closer other then Tom Gordon (??). Myers did well as the closer, but the team looks to add him back to the starting rotation potentially there ace. So, that opens the door for Lidge, and with a Philly club that looks to contend with the Mets he should be able to pick up 30-35 saves with and ERA around 3.00

Yea, you pitching isnt the best, but your offense should be able to pick up the pace for them, atleast for a little while. You should consider picking up some free agent relievers as the season progresses.

It's a pretty good team, and I'd give it an 8/10.

C - Posada is solid, but don't expect another .300 BA this year.
1B - Gonzalez is a sleeper to hit 35 homeruns.
2B - Utley is amazing.
SS - Tulowitzki is a rising star.
3B - Ramirez is underrated and has 35+ power potential.
OF - Beltran and Sizemore are great power/speed combos. Abreu is as well if he can regain his form from two years ago.
Util - Furcal is good for SB's, and Matsui is good too.
Bench - Peralta is a 20-homer threat, and LaRoche is a sleeper. Hudson is a good backup, but I'd trade an injury-prone Dye.

SP - Lackey is great and Maine and Myers are good. McGowan and Lower are alright, and Jimenez is a sleeper. I don't think Johnson will be good, but who knows. Schilling is out for the first half of the year.
RP - Wagner is an aging, but good, closer. Borowski gets chances, but has a high ERA. Lidge is out 3-6 weeks and is inconsistent when he plays. Accardo will eventually lose his starting job to Ryan.

I think you'll basically all of the hitting categories every week, but your pitching can definetely be improved. Maybe you can move an OF for a SP/closer.

Hope I helped!

Picks I love: Utley, Aramis, Tulo, Sizemore, Beltran, Lackey.

Faith Picks: Maine, McGowan, Wagner, Borowski.

Picks I dislike: Posada (depends on the round, i forget when u took him), Furcal, Matsui, Abreu. I just hate the Yankees I guess, don't mind me, lol.
