I feel very bad for the boy who is brain damaged but why is everyone so eager to sue? They say the bat maker should have known that the bat is dangerous? Just plain silly.

Was this bat purchased by the parents?
What is life coming to> Accidents happen and a line drive was hit and the boy missed it and it hit him in the chest. These same boys are throwing the ball to eachother so who's to say a throw couldn't cause this problem? Oh yeah, they'd sue the parents of the boy who threw it cause the parents didn't warn anyone that he was a dangerous thrower! Frivolous to me!!

Shouldn't a parent know better?
What next? A baseball hits a kid and they sue Rawlings cause the ball is too hard??
RK....My son is only 9 years old and I'll put money on it that if he throws a hard baseball at your chest you will go down. He can also hit a ball harder than most kids in his league whether it be a Wooden bat or alluminum one. And if some child were to get hit in the head with a ball my son throws they will be hurt badly so I would say it is Relevant!
