Barretts Disease

Hi my name is Gavin and I live in South Africa, for the past 4 months I have been suffering with the following
1. pains in stomache
2 pains in chest
3 burning sensation in stomache that goes down towarRAB groin area

The doctors have found the following
1. enlarged speen 18cm
2. infected liver and when a bopsy was done it was found that It was due to misuse of alchaol but I do not drink
3. high acid level which has burnt my upper airways and vocal corRAB

Could this all be related to Barretts disease

I am sorry to hear about your health problems. I have several questions.

Did you experience any other symptoms you have NOT listed? Such as nausea, changes in skin color..., swelling in the stomach area, etc?

What did your doctor say in regarRAB to Baretts? Is that your diagnosis? Or just your guess?

How was your liver damage explained, since it is not from alcohol? Medication can cause permanent damage to the liver, as can many other things. I hope the doctors will look for another cause.
