Problems putting in a zip-lock bag? OK, I took my nook, put it centered in a ziplock, sucked the air out, folded the extra plastic over behind the nook, used clear packing tape to hold it in place.
I cut the "Zip" part off, folded it over, taped it along the top and used a strip to fold it over the bottom.
I used a small exacto knife to cut a hole in the plastic so I can plug the power/USB cord in.
It is now completely encased in plastic and all seams are sealed.
It is waterproof everywhere but the small hole where I plug the cord in.
Does the Nook have any air flow requirements or could it over heat in plastic like this?
They sell Silicone Skins for it on the B&N Website but they leave the screen uncovered so I figured I had better ask.
Do you think this will be OK until they FINALLY get the reasonably priced cases in stock?
