Bard College at Simon's rock for pre-engineering?

Hello. I would like to know what you're thoughts are on the Pre-Engineering Program at Bard College at Simon's rock for early college. You take 3 years of lib. arts and math/science at Simon's rock and then 2 years at Columbia engineering. Any students currently attending or those who have graduated, opinions? I'm considering this for Electrical/Electronic engineering. How would this compare to say, just taking 4 yrs of Columbia after graduating HS?
