Banjo the Woodpile Cat

Does any one remember this short film directed by Don Bluth and made back in 1979? I used to love watching it when I was really young. Its been so long since I have seen it but I think the plot involves a young kitten named Banjo who runs away from home and meets an alley cat thats all I really remember though.
Do they still sell this movie at all because I would really like to see it again?

I don't remember seeing this one. :shrug: Amazon.com has a VHS tape available, but the show isn't on DVD. Internet Movie Database has a page with information.

Thanks Dr. Octopus I might actually buy it from there, I also found they they are selling it on ebay which I was surprised to learn.

Maybe a picture from a Don Bluth website will help some people remember this cartoon.

Awesome! Ever since I saw clips of this on the making-of featurette on the Secret Of NIMH DVD, I've wanted to see it, and it sounds like the DVD will have some very nice extra features as well.

Wow this is an old thread! But thanks for finding out about that Monterey Jack, it will definitly be on my list of upcoming movies to buy. I did watch it on youtube a while back too, so cute. And I love the design for the DVD cover.

I have never seen this movie. but I am interested since I like most everything else by Don Bluth.

It wasn't a movie; it was a half-hour special which debuted on ABC on May 1, 1982.
