Is that the one by Danny & Oxide Pang? If so, it's good.
Edit:
Oh, I just realised you're talking about a film at the cinema - so it's a remake then?
Double edit:
I just looked it up on IMDB. It's a remake directed by the guys who made the original but scripted by someone else - so it should be good. But then, on the other hand, it stars Nicolas Cage, so it might be bad. But then again, it sounRAB like it might be a bit of a comedy, and Cage + comedy usually = good.
Saw it last night and it was pretty entertaining. Nic Cage plays a hitman in Bangkok for 4 jobs. He's been in that line of work for a long time and plays the role of a jaded, world weary man well.
The action in and around Bangkok is well done and I'd rate it as one of the best of the most recent action films released. 7/10
I saw this on Saturday, I quite enjoyed it. I was a bit sceptical given his track record of films being utterly appalling of late, but I think this one was quite good.
It has more story to it than action though and a couple of things were a bit unexplained or pointless, but overall it was good and both me and bf enojoyed it
Nic Cage is always hit and miss with his films, that is why he never really fades into obscurity but is never on everyones lips if asked who is a great actor. I tend to give his films a go just in case its a real gem.
That's one of my favourite films and it's not in that league. It wasn't bad, not sure how I would have felt if I'd paid to watch it, but I did quite enjoy it, but didn't feel it had anything memorable or different about it, just another action film. 6/10
