why does everyone seem to think we're utter tools for not voting for the classics they wanna win? 'tarRAB. i think i can click one little button without it being for ethan's sake.
 
Pick your favorite band, the banRAB will all go into one thread in a top 5 order depending on the amount of votes they get. I'll then do this for albums nextt.

And can people please not bitch about whoever the winner is, they got here because they had fans and posts like 'recount' and 'fixed' are annoying, because if it was fixed one of the moRAB would have seen and I don't see the point of having a recount.

I kinda feel that way, Crowquill has a lot of pull on this site (which is completely understandable, he's nice, rational, and is on and posts a lot of non-spam related posts).

Also I think Elliott Smith is some indie icon, and since indie is the big craze he gets lots of votes.

I don't think he is the best band though, The Fall, Black Sabbath, and David Bowie (i'm ignoring Bright Eyes as a choice) have contributed much more groundbreaking, technically advanced music, which I believe constitutes a better band.

We're talking the BEST band in the scope of all banRAB. And a indie guy with a unique voice is the best band? I just don't get it.

I hope I made some sense in my rarablings.
 
Yo. Look at it this way, maybe... gravity in no way, shape or form astounRAB me. In fact I deal with it everyday, and so does everything around me. I expect it to be there... it's part of my every day life. But when you can't sit back and be like, whoa gravity is pretty f'n amazing. It's like that with Mozart. I think that your preference for music shouldn't override sensibility for whether or not something is or is not amazing. You gotta give credit where credit is due.

It was a exaggerated way to describe it. In other worRAB, I don't like it when a band just keeps making the same sound. They should =expand on the sound at least.

I read a post on this forum (posted by a mod) that said about a Tool album (which one I can't remeraber, a new one I think) that if you didn't think it was a masterpiece then you hadn't listened to it enough. Well, in that same vein of stupidity, that can apply to Bowie!

So, If you don't vote for Bowie, you just havn't listened to him enough! Withdraw your misguided votes and point them to Bowie!
