i don't know why, but i love it.

when i first heard it referred to as house, i was thinking it was totally different than any house music i had heard, and hated before.

and spankrock as an MC over it is amazingly awesome.
 
I can't get in to it, but I've heard it for years (I'd say since the early '90s) growing up between Baltimore and DC (home of go-go). Recently a friend of mine has put out a few EPs that are getting a lot of love; he goes by Tittsworth, and he's got audio of his tunes up at tittsworth.com.
 
met tittsowrth last night at the 930 club, and i own most of the vinyl pressings. Dude's production game is tight.

any of yall in the DC area i spin bmore at DragonFly on Tuesdays.
