I've been going to a monthly community dance for a number of years. The DJ often says if anyone has any requests, let him know. He has said a few times to bring a CD or a USB flash drive with the song.
To be honest, his music is boring-- same exact stuff every month. He never plays any current hits.
I don't mind dancing to the old classics, but the same ones month after month??
So would it be rude to bring an entire CD of songs I like, maybe 10 songs and ask him to play ANY of them?
I've been doing ballroom dance for years and have a huge collection of music for all dances so I know everything I'd bring would work.
Is bringing a whole CD rude? Or should I only bring and ask for 1-2 song requests?
