I spotted two mice in our garage several weeks back, and my dad and I bought some traps. We started setting them with peanut butter, but about a week afterwords one mouse got smart and learned how to lick it off without triggering the trap. So I looked it up and people said use bread, so I loaded new traps with peanut butter and stuck some bread to it. That worked for a while, but no matter what there was always at least one trap stolen from. My mom doesn't want to pay $6 for a live trap to get the Houdini mouse. Is there anything I can bait the traditional kinds with that would require the mouse to apply pressure to trigger? She suggested honey or cheese, but a website said the smell doesn't attract them like people think?
