Baidu Keyboard Input

With all the recent talk about portrait qwerty on the N8, I was wondering if anyone has used the Baidu input keyboard? Any extensive use or swear by it?

Does it work well? Is it a decent application once you figure out the Chinese? I'm considering getting an N8 because my E71 is aging and I want to know if I'll be disappointed with it.

Are there any former E71 owners that are now using an N8 with baidu that are content?

I am a former E71 user with the N8 and I am so pleased with Swype that I don't think I'd ever again want to use any touch screen keyboard that wasn't Swype. So... I will wait patiently for portrait Swype to be delivered and just switch to landscape for the time being when I need to enter text.
 
The only reason i like to have the potrait keyboard because i can use it with one hand only and with the landscape mode i will not have any choice other than using both hands and that can be dangerous sometimes
 
i've used it, the keyboard layout is good. the problem is that because it's an application, it lags sometimes in use. i feel that it's too slow, if it was better integrated like swype, then yea. right now T9 is good enough until swype comes out in portrait.
