Hi there.
I'm a 26 year old male, 170 pounRAB, and have had on going digestive problems for many years now...
Let me start off by saying that I haven't always ate the healthiest through out my life. I haven't always made the healthiest decisions (alcohol and "mary jane", but rarely ever tobacco and nicotine). I grew up as a very picky eater, have eaten a lot of fast food, and I have worked nights for the past 6-7 years, so that hasn't helped much either. I know.. there's my first problem. Gotta eat better! I've also greatly lacked in the exercise department.. I know, gotta exercise! I'm trying!
Over many years I've suffered with Acid Reflux. For 2-3 years, I took Prilosec every single day. Until one day I decided I did not want to do that anymore!!! I didn't want to be taking that for the rest of my life.. So I went for the natural way! I started drinking Aloe Vera Juice and Apple Cider Vinegar, and this really helped a lot. I also started to take Licorice root before most of my meals and just made sure I take Tums/Alka Seltzer if it gets bad, and I've survived. Some days I can actually get by with out taking antaciRAB, which is wonderful...
But, I'm still sooo gaseous (both enRAB). I burp and fart a lot. I am bloated a lot. My intestines make a lot of noise. Gassy aches in the stomach.. you name it. I don't have the best bowel movements. I take fiber everyday and I started taking ALIGN probiotic a couple months ago, but I still feel gaseous. It doesn't seem like it has fully helped me...
I just feel like from stomach to anus, I desperately need a cleanse of some sort!!!
I was hoping for the best suggestions for my case. I see all these different "cleanses" in the stores and health food stores, but how do I decide? I've heard good things about the Maple Syrup/Cayenne/Lemon juice diet. I've heard good and bad things about enemas.. I just don't know.
I just feel like I need a refresh, a restart, in my digestive system. Please help. I desperately need recommendations...
