Baddies in American TV/Films

Has anyone noticed that baddies in American TV and films are often played by British actors albiet with a Russian accent if not British? 24 and the Die Hard series to name but two and Kidnapped the US series where the bad guy was American but played by Linus Roache.

Lots of British actors are in Amercian series playing American's too such as Owain Yeoman who plays Rigsby in The Mentalist and Hugh Lauries in House.

I am more amazed by the fact that Jim Robinson out of Neighbours now appears to be in every US TV show going.

I agree on both parts

a) it is a well documented observation - and has been for, well 10 years or more and

b) yes Dale is absolutely everywhere - I was on a plane the other day and he even popped up in the second series of Moving Wall Paper!!

I was like 'him again'?!?!!
