bad scheduling?

Here is the situation: I just started back working as a home health aide ( i have worked for them 3 years ago). Wednesday was my first day and i was supposed to work 8:30am-4pm, but it got cancelled by (lets call her Mary) Mary, who does the scheduling. Then she scheduled me for 5;30pm- 11pm, same day. I was also supposed to work there Thursday from 3-11pm. She called and cancelled as well. She said that there are not enough patients and to much staff...so, somebody else got my hours.
We also have CNA's that get called first...had to mentioned that.
Today i worked 7-3 and was supposed to work for the same patient tomorrow 7-3, but she cancelled that as well.
Should i say soemthing to my manager?
I dont want to whine, but once she calls me and schedules me, i call babysitter and make sure they can come over and take care of my daughter.
I understand that the CNA's get called first, but why schedule me and then cancel? Should i say something to my Manager?
