I recently had a poor (and very exaggerated) negative performance evaluation. This is the pre-evaluation, the mid-point before my 120 day probation is over. Most of the things on the list are matters that were already resolved, or nobody told me I was doing wrong before. It makes me sound like the worst human being on the planet, I kind of feel like they are out to get me and I don't understand why. Also they make it a point to exaggerate how many times I've actually screwed up, and fail to mention any of the good things I've done.
Is there anything I can do about this except kind of be an OCD b*tch and keep really immaculate records of everything I've done, so they can't come back at me and say some of the stuff they did. Don't I get an appeal or something if I feel I've been unfairly (and way harshly evaluated)?
