I'll start from the beginning, had a check engine light problem, troubleshot it down to a bad camshaft position sensor. changed it out and the next day i found a really bad oil leak. took it into the shop and they told me it was a leaking head gasket.
they replaced the seal, also changed out my brakes and rotors since my brake pads had been worn down to nothing for awhile. grand total of $600.

next day i check the oil level just to find out surprise no more oil, it's still leaking. grabbed the old haynes book and took a look around. apparently the camshaft position sensor was supposed to have a seal on it that didn't come with the part, it comes seperate for $8 (i hate when that happens)
so put the seal on and it's fine overnight.
it's still leaking real bad, going to take it into the shop again today to see if they can at least tell me where it's coming from since i am out of ideas.

i've got a road trip planned so if anyone has run into this problem before i would appreciate any help.

it sounds more like the intake gasket leaking then that. you have a rubber seal on the front and back of the intake and they can start leaking after several miles.
