I would like to go backpacking in the UP of Michigan. I know there are groups with guides, sometimes free ones, that include hiking and learning survival. If there is any information out there about finding and/or joining a backpacking adventure, someone point me in the right direction! Also, what are the best spots to visit in the UP?
