I am beginning to plan a backpacking journey across Europe the autumn of 2011. I will be flying from the United States and unfortunately only have 14 days vacation from work. I have relatives in Belgium who I know I want to visit, and my husband would like to see Greece. We are up for anything else. We are young (26 yr) and it will be just us and our first trip to Europe. We are very adventurous people who also love culture. Any suggestions where/how/when we should go?
We do not have to see Greece, just an option. Are there other things that are more interesting that are closer to Belgium? (besides the obvious Paris)
