I'm trying to figure out how I should go about backing up my desktop PC and my net book. I would like something that is easy to use, and would offer the most reliability. I'm struggling between online backup services and something like an external hard drive.
For the most part, I have personal files such as photos, music and documents.
Which one would you choose for yourself, and which one would require the least amount of intervention from me. In other words, if I forget to do a backup, will it go ahead and take care of it automatically?
And, what would be the most cost effective option?
