Back to the T.. for a while anyway.

I guess it's been some time since I last posted anything :p

I picked up a 1gb SD card for a pretty good price today and I found my T still in the drawer where I left it a few months ago. Battery was dead, charged it up, and did a restore from BackupMan and synchronized it.

After using my iPAQ aka. The Brick for a few months, the Tungsten T feels absolutely tiny. With the 1gb SD it makes for a nice audio player.

I kinda miss having a PDA just for reading and, well, just for a PDA. My iPAQ has the dual PC Card expansion and wifi and the snap on thumb board, which is like a mini-computer.

I kinda got used to carrying around that heavy monster, but it was great, 10 to 15 hours battery life, wifi, etc.

I guess I'll see how long the battery lasts while I listen to music on my T.

So for the next week I'm gonna keep the T in my pocket for PDA/clock use and see how it goes.

All to often we "forget" our roots. I found my M515 the other day and thought how much I enjoyed it's small foot print. I wish that P1 would make that same device with a collapseable VG and it would be the ideal device with the current software etc.

Bigger is not necessarily better?

I still at times go back and look at my m130 that I gave to my Mom and remember how cool it was and how it was my first computer with an expansion slot.

Now I just have to teach my Mom how to use it and I'll be all set.

Cheers! Welcome Back!
