Back To The Future In HD!!! Woo

This Friday on Sky, they are showing Back To The Future in HD, who else can't wait to see this in HD

I'm a bit upset as I only watched this a couple of weeks ago, and don't want to watch it again straight away, but I will record it and keep it on my box

i'm sure I read on here a while back, that Universal have made new HD prints of all3 and that a new release is due soon.

Im not really a technical person so i would wonder how it was possible to make such an old recording into HD?

How much better would it actually look?

Films shot on film have a much higher resolution than DVD and even Blu-Ray. They take the original film, clean up the frames and then downscale it to a HD compat resolution

I've watched the entire trilogy in upscaled format and it looks great, very sharp, so it will look wonderful in true HD.

I love the moment in the second film where Marty is in the square and the giant hologram image of Jaws appears and almost bites him. Classic moment, that.
