Back Problems, inability to stand up straight.

Hi,

my younger brother has hunched for some time. He complained to me that his back had been causing him problems and he can not stand up straight. When he took off his shirt to show me how hunched his back was, I was surprised. He doesn't look normal when he stanRAB up straight. He has a curved, almost feminine back and rear profile. It is a dramatic dip in the small of his back, and I am concerned. What kind of specialist should my mother take him to? What could be the problem? We are more concerned with what kind of doctor he should see about this issue.
 
My first suggestion would be to start with your family doctor and have him look at your brothers back. He will either tests and x-rays, or he will refer you to someone else. But your family doctor may be able to help.....
