I've been looking for information on the web about something that I think happened to me many years ago (long before the internet). I even read about it soon after it happened. It's possible that you can drink a lot, then sleep in a bad position, because the mental mechanism that protects you from doing this is suppressed when you're drunk, and then you wake up with your reflexes and physical coordination slightly compromised. Not enough even maybe to notice unless you depend a lot on your reflexes, like a musician or athlete.
My question is, is this a recognized phenomenon, is there a name for it (aside perhaps from being reckless), and is it written about? Thanks if anyone knows of links, etc.
