My wife, Monisha (58 years old) has been suffering from low back ache (right side - above the hip). She does not have any problem otherwise except when she goes to bed. Its difficult to take turn and also getting up - sometimes it becomes difficult to breathe at such positions / postures. However it becomes alright after she moves 3-4 steps. This she is having for may be 3-4 months or little more but has become acute now. Pl note that she has no problem in any posture otherwise. Kindly suggest remedy, if any. - Mahata.

The best thing to do is to first see a doctor just to have an exam and see if there are any back problems going on. He/she may also be able to suggest some physical therapy and/or other treatment modalities.

I have the same symptons. I have been going for mio facial release( for muscle tissue) since last summer. An xray showed thar I also have some scoliosis. That has developed in the last few years. I think I will go to a back specialist to see if that is the problem. I think that stress is involved but the sharp pain is real. I also have noticed a crunching sound in my lower right side if I move a particular way. I would sure like to get some good advice.
