Hello,
I was diagnosed with Lupus 10 yrs. ago. Along with this is back pain on both sides "whenever I stand for a few minutes." It goes away the moment I sit down! One doc said it is probably my weight pulling on the ligaments, but no one has said for sure. If I use my walker, I cover much more ground. I can't stand in the kitchen to cook without every few minutes grabbing the stool to sit to alleviate the pain. It goes away completely. Weird, to say the least. Does any of you have back pain like this, and have you found a diagnosis?

Also, I'm told I have a cyst on one of my kidneys. I have a dull ache often on both sides of my back. In the past, one doc wondered why I was feeling no pain with it (in the beginning); now today, my doc tells me that kidneys don't hurt. The pain I have must be muscular. Now where does this leave me? Does anyone know anything about this? I don't know if the back pain mentioned above is related to the dull aches I have. Growing old is really trying!!!!!!! Thank you.
