after i have slept a few hours i get awful back pain?why is that

I have something similar that happens to me. My back will start to spasm if I sleep longer than 7 hours. Anything less and im good to go.

ive had physical therapy and now my orthopedic dr. sent me back for more p.t. i told him i am tolerating back pain only because i havent been working but i know as soon as i go back to work its going to aggravate and flare up again the next option is a cortisone inj. does this work and is this a painfull procedure???
