I'm asking why every time you get a virus or simple sinus infection your back first place you feel uncomfortable, pain wise.I had 3 sinus infections in less than 2 months and my back seems to hurt more.Is it because that area is weak?or something else going wrong?

I feel the same way I can't even sneeze or cough for that matter without extreme pain!! My therapist says it is cause our muscle are weak, hope that helps!

Hi, I do know that if you have to sneeze or cough when you have nerve compression, (for example, sciatica), it can cause your pain to increase tremendously. It's called a valsalva maneuver and it can cause increased pressure in an area inside the spinal canal, which can further aggravate nerve problems. This can happen by sneezing, coughing, laughing, or even by straining while going to the bathroom.

hi,I can cough and sneeze with no pain, its just general bone ache in low back.happens every time that how I know coming down with something,if flu forget it,its very bad.

Hey, Thanks for the advice went to the doctor on moday found aout that Iam not fusing told them about the problem and they want tto inject me with sterioRAB and also orally why can't I get a straight answer form the ortho surgen unless he know there's more complications thta he is not telling me about yet.

I think if you're already hurting and you get a virus on top of it that causes aches and pains, it's going to make the pain you started out with that much worse. Just the way our bodies work. :(

Hope you're feeling better soon,
Emily
