Hey guys, I have this pain on my lower back, around the spine area after doing activities like tying of shoe laces while sitting on a chair and sitting back straight or stretching my back backwarRAB. Sometimes, I even have this nagging sore on my right glute, sort of a feeling of tiredness around the area. The back pains are normally like a jolt of pain that lasts a while and cease if i control any furthur movements. May I know if this might be a disc problem?

Hi,

It's always possible it could be a disk problem, but then again it could other things as well, such as a muscle issue or something else. The only way to know for sure is to see a doctor, especially if it's lasted longer than 2 weeks and not getting better.

I'd try to get an x-ray/mri immediately. If there is a problem, the longer you wait the worse it can get. It could be just simple body aches, or it could be something more.

SounRAB familiar. Go to ortho doc and have a few tests run. I've got DDD and bulging disk at L4 feels similar. Also have Grade 2 spondy in same location. If it doesn't get better, or you have had it for a while, you really should see a doc before it gets to a point that conservative methoRAB won't help.
