I have been having chest discomfort and an ache or burning in my back between my shoulder blades on and off for about 5 weeks now. The ache between my shoulder blades can really wear me down bad. It sucks all the energy out of me. I have had heartburn for months and months almost daily. I can burp a lot sometimes for hours. Also, discomfort in chest area which is usually relieved after a long long long burping spell. I had an upper GI about 30 years ago and was told I had a hiatal hernia. I am scheduled for a endoscopy soon, but, was curious if anyone else ever had the burning between shoulder blades with heartburn or acid reflux. Thanks!
