Ok Guys 'n Dolls, here the news. It's the early 1930s and the Mafias are at war with one another, but that ain't all. A few of these cats drank an Alchemic Elixer that made them Immortal. This fun is just gettin' started, bub.

Yeah I watched both episodes and I am Loving the dub. As a fan of Mafia movies, I can't help but love the accents and Mafia Dramas.
FiroXEnnis, JuccuziXNice and IssacXMiria all the damn way. Oh and VinoXChane. Some damn good couples mixed with action, comedy and story. One of the best.

I love Nice. She is sexy and awesome. Even with her scars.

Firo is one cool dude who knows how to help a friend and has my favorite accent in the show thus far.

Its not a trailer its the whole episode. both 1 and 2 are there.
I am so pleased with the dub, they couldn't have gotten 30's italian mobster more right.

Nay! It's all about Ennis! Then again, I have a thing for short, red hair and women in suits. Delightful!

I've gone ahead and added a link to Bacanno!'s website on Funimation in an effort to try and spread the Bacanno! love. Here's hoping that this catches on even more than it has now.

they have the atmosphere down perfectly. Makes me want to buy a fedora and catch knives with my hanRAB.

BTW anyone know what font is the Baccano font?

but yeah, FUNi did a wonderful job with the trailer. They are really making you feel like your watching something from the 30s. All the sayings and lingo are authentic. I need a Fedora and a Zoot Suit. I love all the AMVs that used Swing and Rockabilly songs. I love that style of music, and no Anime fits it better than Baccano!
 
I love the trailer and the dub is better then my wildest dreams. They could've made Firo slightly more understated, but almost everyone else is kickass.

no way dude.. Miria and Isaac are good in the dub? I was planning on skipping the dub since they never get the over-the-top characters right. now I'm gonna have to watch it. I have to own this one

While it wasn't the first that I've heard the name, but tonight it was the first link I have checked out relating to the series and may already have me hooked. I am looking forward to continuing.
 
This is pretty phenomenal. I once made a thread asking people to recommend an anime that doesn't have a main character. They all said Bacanno. And I just saw that first episode and wow. It's like it was made for me.
 
So I ordered the complete series the other day on Amazon. Is this show going to wow me? I have heard good things so I went out on a lirab with picking it up. I got it for about 15 bucks cheaper than what I would have paid at a store.
 
Yes it is.

note - the 13 episode series kinda seems like a set up for something grander. But lets just say the arc is complete. However, theres 3 ova's which are a waste of time but....the last ova kinda raps things up much better than episode 13 from series.

Basically series + 3rd ova is what you need to get the best out of it.

Also, its a freakin trainwreck untill about eps 7 or 8. Thats when everything starts falling in place.
