Baby shower ideas, no games.?

I insist on not playing baby shower games. I'm tired of them and I find them quite boring and silly . I am also having a co-ed shower and there will possibly be about 70 guests. What else can we do, besides games? I already know about painting onsies and quilt squares.

You could decorate a basket and have little pieces of paper and writing utensils and have people fill out a little message for the baby that you can put in the babie's baby book.

I'm not sure, but I find it strange that parts of the liberal establishment let religious whackos get a pass because they aren't christian, thus not associated with redneckism and the republican party. Still though they are horrible, ignorant people. I dont get it. I am very left leaning but I think the left is wayyy too PC to the point of retardation.

I had a coed shower, it was lots of fun. We had a backyard bbq type theme, we also had everybody bring their kids too. there is no reason it has to be all females. we had a cooler of beer, one of soda, and one of juice. I also hired a sitter to help entertain the kids and play some outside type games. Since you dont really want to play any games, there isnt really any time fillers other than enjoying your company and loving your gifts. hope your labor and delivery goes great!

my cousin's baby shower was so much fun, all of the guest wrote thier addresses on an index card and also a bit of advise on the baby and being parents and we sat around reading the advise and such from the back of the card. it was loads of fun and lots of information!! congrats!
