her what each one contributed? I'm giving my best friend (of 13 years) a baby shower in a few days. I got her several individual gifts, one other person got her several gifts, and a few others will be bringing a gift as well. One other thing I organized was a group gift. I contacted her close friends and family, and we contributed money to buy her a crib. I know she will be ecstatic to have this purchase taken care of, and ready when the new baby comes home.
A couple people contributed $50, and most others contributed $25 each, which IS their gift to her for the shower. I know if it were me, I would want to know who contributed what. Is it ok to tell her, perhaps I could include this in a list in a separate envelope? I think this would be helpful when she sends out thank you cards as well.
In the baby shower card itself, do you have any suggestions on what to write? I'm not sure if I'm going to have time to round everyone up who contributed in order for each one to sign it, and I know I won't be able to do that with the few who live out of town and won't be attending the shower. Should I write something meaningful, as well as signing each person's name?
Thank you for your suggestions!
