Ok,my son's 7 weeks old,he'll be 8 weeks old this Thursday. Anyways,he's eating between 6-8 oz a FEEDING! He fusses, and appears hungry if we stop it at 3-4 oz. We only give him his bottle if he's clearly hungry,we don't use it as a way to "hush him up" like some parents unfortunately do,leading to obese children. He weiged 8 lb 1 oz at birth, and at his WIC apt (he was almost 6 weeks old,he was 12 lb 1 oz!!) He's already eating large amounts, and I was just wondering if anyone else had similiar experiences! My daughter was the same way, only she was eating a regular 8 oz at around 2 weeks old!! Anyone else have similiar experiences, and any advice on it? Got any advice on any of it? What should I do?
I'm going to bring it up to his doctor next time she sees him. He usually only eats 5-7 oz,but usually right around six. It's not something I'm totally concerned with, because my daughter ate like this as well, please don't sit here and tell me repeatedly to "get ahold of his doctor" I've got common sense.
