My wife is expecting her first child in March. My father in law (the baby's grandfather) has a 2000 Chevy S10. He is talking about after the baby is born taking him to his house after the baby is born in his truck. The only problem, the truck doesn't have any backseat. It only has two pull out seats that are small and don't have any seat belts. He says he can put the baby in the middle in the front but it doesn't have a middle seat either. All it has is two seats in the front for the driver and passenger. Plus I heard that it's illegal to put babies in the front seat of a vehicle. I believe it is unsafe to have the baby travel in that truck because there is no place to put the car seat, but he disagrees. What should I do?
