Baby Bird

Alright, this isn't so much a rant... but I want to tell it to someone.

Something quite depressing happened to me a while ago. I forgot when. I was sitting and watching TV, and my cat brought in a bird. This is not surprising, she does it all the time. I did the usual, chased her away and tried to pick up the bird. It jumped away from me though, chirping really loudly. I then determined that it must be a baby bird, crying for it
 
That's so sad. =(

When I was a teenager, my cat also brought in a baby bird. I grabbed it and stuck it in this huge purple Tupperware container with blankets and a soggy mixture of cat food and bread. I was going to nurse it back to health.

Then I had this great idea to get it high. So I cut a hole into the top and blew fat bong hits into it. I opened it and the bird was dead. I felt like shit. I had no idea that smoke kills birds. :sad:

I also had this hamster when I was about 12 years old. He had a plastic cage and a wheel that clipped onto the side. It was REALLY noisy at night. One night, I couldnt take the noise, and I popped off the wheel. My hamster ran around the cage really fast a few times and fell over dead. I think he hit his head on the side of the cage or something. I was fucking devastated.

Don't feel bad though. They'll have another baby. ;)
