So two weekends ago I hooked up with a guy that I find very attractive and I really like, but I don't know him very well. Due to a combination of stress and my own difficulty being open and vulnerable with a potential boyfriend (out of fear of getting hurt), I was really awkward around him the following week, and we didn't talk much. Now it's finals week and I'm on interaction shutdown mode, but once finals are over and I can relax I would really like to see him, but I'm worried that I ruined any chance that I had of getting to know him and potentially dating him. What should I do? Should I just pull him aside and just be honest and say "Look, I'm sorry I was so weird last week."? I NEED HELP!
Yeah, but to a certain extent I think that by not letting on that I'm interested AFTER we hooked up makes him think that I regret hooking up with him, which I don't...
OKAY just to clarify: I'm a high school senior, and we made out, not have sex. I know that that's high school vernacular and that in the real world hooking up means sex, but I only made out with him.
