Hi,
I work in a school and I offered to make then a helpdesk application. I have only one problem. I know that these already exist and I'm sure whatever I come up with will have at least some of the features they have.
If I made this application and possibly turned it into a business how do I avoid copyright and what can you copyright when it comes with applications? Surely at some point I'm going to be using some code that is almost identical to theirs, I mean, loops are pretty much done one way so that could get tricky.
I guess it reminds me of music. What happens if you open garageband and before you know it you've copied an entire Beethoven symphony without realising. What do you do then?
