Aviation career after military?

I'm 20 years old and I finally decided to do the military. I'm currently sworn into the US Navy as an AD (Aviation Machinist Mate). I'm doing a little research on careers after my service, and I want to take my skills and time while in the navy to the highest possible potential. I know flight engineers won't be needed as much as the years go by for major airlines, What about Aerospace engineers? pilots? My main question is, with becoming an AD, what are my possibilities for making a high-paying career after service? Aircraft technicians, the relative job in the civilian world for an AD doesn't pay that high. I'm looking for something $80k +. I plan to go to college to do whatever it takes, I really just want to have a high paying career in aviation or engineering. Any help would be nice! thanks.
